MARÍA KRISTÍN JÓNSDÓTTIR Growing up in a family of goldsmiths and artists, María Kristín went on to study for a BA in Product Design at the Iceland Academy of the Arts, as well as taking courses in Ethics and Philosophy at the University of Iceland. María Kristín has a keen passion for natural preservation and draws inspiration from nature, its forces, shapes and structures. This versatile artist's designs show a strong conceptual, emotional and structural connection with the natural world. María Kristín has studied and worked in Milan, New York and Reykjavik, where she currently lives with her family.
